[/size][/blockquote]Personality:
Alethea's fur is thick, soft and silky, reminding one of the softest snow in winter. Her pelt is white and creamy in color and the tip of her tail, the base of her paws and the majority of her head is touched by a shine of silvery fur. She has a darker patch or grey running down the top of her muzzle. Her eyes are dark brown, though in some lights they look black.
This fae is thicker set then her counterparts of the same gender, around 90 cms to her shoulders in height and weighs in at just over 70 pounds.
Alethea is a reserved wolfess, speaking only when she sees fit or when the situation calls from it. Alethea would rather not waste her breath on blithe chatter, though she does make it her business to know everything about each on of her pack's members. As Alphaess she is strong-willed in her actions and willing to make the crappy call when the time comes. This fae leads her pack with strong words and an iron fist. Alethea manages to mediate her pack's differences easily and easily manages to drawing loyalty from those of her pack who are dark hearted while gaining the trust of her pack members who are pure of heart.[/size][/blockquote]Theme Song:
The fae is by no means under the delusion that her differently allianced pack mates will co-existing nicely and though she expects fights to break out every now and then, she punish them accordingly -sending two opposing wolves on multiple hunts together so they are forced into working together/alongside each other - .
Alethea relies on her eyes to say what her lips won't and her meaning can almost always be understood. There have been many times- when words have been superfluous- that a wolf has found themselves on the receiving end of a thickly disappointed look, a deep probing look that seem to stare right into one's soul, or a furious flash. Yes, this fae's eyes say it all.
Alethea is fiercely protective of her pack and each of it's members and will readily give her life for them. Alethea spends a lot of her time observing her pack mates, taking note of each and everyone wolfs actions. She notices when loves goes unrequited and can tell when a wolf is bothered by something. She despises wolves who are out right disrespectful and though she doesn't expect the wolves she commands to fall at her feet in whimpers of respect, she does expect them to at least acknowledge her...whether it is with a slight nod of the head or an out right bow. She's an odd soul and draws pleasure from some of the most simple pleasures in life.

[/blockquote]History:
Alethea was born to loner mates Akantha and Mirkus. Her parents were from opposing packs and regardless of the negative energy and all the taboos the pair fell in love after being trapped inside a small cave during a blizzard that had lead both wolves out of their pack lands. Regardless of the opposing scents and the knowledge that they should kill each other on the spot, they two banded together, choosing life over some century long feud. Together they sought out the shelter of that fateful cave and stayed for three nights, until the snow had cleared.[/size][/blockquote]How...?:
It had taken the pair of wolves but a few hours to stop snarling at each other, and once realising that the two packs were more alike than their elders would have the younger wolves believe, the pair became friends, that instant connection soon turning into love as they shared their body warmth to survive the chilled and harsh bite to the air.
The pair of lovers retuned to their own packs in the end, but it did not take much for both to realise that they would rather run off together than live under the harsh rule of their respective packs. It seemed almost fate that the two headed back to the den they had fallen in love in and once seeing each other the pair were overjoyed and rejoiced.
It was sometime during the spring of the lovers seconded year on their own that they conceived a litter of pups. Whether it was the harsh condition or just bad luck, only two pups out of six were born alive. Alethea was one of them. It seemed for but a rare snapshot of a moment that the small family pack was truly at ease and Akantha and Mirkus were so sure they had defied the odds and made their own happiness together. As always however, it came to an end when a group of human hunters killed Mirkus when he tried to steal their kill. Akantha was left alone with two pups, barely old enough to walk.
She couldn't return to her old pack and the grief from the loss of her mate was more than the fae could bare. Alethea and her sister survived on the worsening life milk of their mother and soon the two sisters taught themselves to hunt. Akantha became little more than figure at the back of their family den and Alethea being the old, less reserved sister took it upon herself to care for both her sibling and her heartbroken, detached mother.
Alethea's puphood was anything but carefree and whether it was a good thing or not, she came out of the experience aware of every harsh relatity of this world, as the leader she is today.
With a growing number of wolves frequenting the the territory of Avalon Falls Alethea soon took it upon herself to include the other loners, outcasts or curious wolves into her care. It was but a few steps towards guiding the wolves as their Alphaess and they seemed to welcome her leadership with open arms. After all, she was made to lead, to guide, to care.
