Appearance:
Four long pillars hold up the lean bodice of this male. Thin, yet stable muscles pulse from beneath the pinkish flesh. Ribs can faintly be seen stretching across his flanks. Stretching up from the frontal pillars is a slightly broad chest, and from that is the base of the brute's slightly longer then average neck. The face of the creature is long, the muzzle being long and carrying aq look of sophistication.Personality:
The fur in Mordin consists mainly of reddish browns, whites, and blacks. His coat is slightly long and is kept very clean and neat. Along most of his body, his pelt consists mainly of the reddish brown. From the top of Mordin's throat till the base of his tail, the color turns into a pure white. Specks of black dot the slender shoulders and black. Mordin's muzzle is that of a cream color with a red tint. His eyes are chocolate brown and gleam with great intelligence. Above his dark eyes is a black birthmark. The mark is very subtly noticeable and stretches down from the top of his forehead and reaches to the space between his eyes. Along the sides of the birthmark, three sharp curving lines stretch out on each side.
Mordin is riddled with scars from his earlier battles. One of them being a deep gash along the side of his left cheek. The right ear has been completely torn away due to a fierce battle. The once long tail of this brute has been bitten in half, leaving a stub.
Mordin is a being of great intelligence. Members of his old pack referred to him as the "Professor" for his constant habit of concocting remedies for sickness and expierments with different plants and herbs. If a member of another pack, he immediately finds himself a comfortable area near the main den area of the pack where he can work in peace and yet be directly there if need be.History:
This brute is a soul that prefers to spend his time in solace where he can conduct research and such without interruption. However, depending on what he is doing at the time, Mordin will gladly accept company. He finds himself becoming lonely at times but does not go out of his way to seek companionship, rather, he distracts himself by studying the territory, the behavior of the animals or merely out for a stroll alone. Mordin is one who is rarely standing still, he is always found doing something somewhere. It is a rare sight to find him dozing lazily.
Generally, Mordin is very friendly, and will happily speak to anyone who desires his company or even give advise if asked for it. (he feels very honored if he is asked for his opinion on matters, important or not.) However, at times, Mordin will shrug off others who want to speak, normally saying "Trying to work between Alpha's orders and other interruptions. Another time." Which brings another important point to the Professor's personality. Mordin speaks quickly with generally short sentences. He also very rarely refers to words that indicate himself if telling someone he is busy or anything of the like. The speech and behavior of the brute could be referred as a "hamster on coffee".
Mordin will not turn down an offer to help. He will try his hardest to assist those who desire it, and if he fails, he will be remorseful for a while then shrug it off. Which again, brings another important note. The Professor switches from mood to mood very quickly. (Although he rarely expresses his anger directly, only in certain situations will he.) It is not because he is "bi-polar" or anything of the sort. No, his mind works extremely quickly with emotions. For example, if he makes a breakthrough on an experiment, he will register a feeling of triumph or joy, and then a few minutes later he will return to his somewhat somber mood and work on something else. Or, if forced to kill another wolf in defense or feeling that wolf is a threat to himself or his work, he will feel remorse, then once again return to somberness.
Mordin once belonged to a group of Red wolves outside of Mother Russia. He was trained to be a healer, but was also trained to fight. For a time, the brute did his work for his pack, conducting research, and fighting whenever necessary.Theme Song: *must think of one D:*
One day, a few members of his pack grew ill with a strange sickness. Frantic, the male tried again and again to find the remedy, constantly experimenting with new herbs and such. Nothing appeared to work. Slowly his pack started to die of the killing disease and time was running out. One day however, one of the scouts who had tried a new possible remedy started to feel better. This caused a bit of triumph for the Professor and so he saw to it that every sick wolf acquired the "curing" medicine.
Nearly a week later, nearly all of the pack members had died. Wracked with grief, he tried to figure out what went wrong. It turns out, the plants he had given his pack-mates was a very slow acting poison.
The brute found himself alone, his pack-mates gone, the only thing that kept him company was his faithful orange/red tabby cat Mehlen.
The two buried the fallen, and quickly fled the land, seeking refuge elsewhere. Soon, Mordin opened a "clinic" for any sick wolf in the nearby area. He treated many wolves who wandered his way but grew very lonely and wished to belong in another pack. He and Mehlen soon sought out the company of a nearby pack...Avalon Falls.
