Weaknesses: He is lacking in brainpower. Poor eyesight in the dark. His left hind leg causes him great pain when bitten or even just scratched. Has a tendency to expose his neck too much while fighting. He may look intimidating but the truth is he's just not a spectacular fighter.

Appearance:

Brutus is a very large wolf that looks and sounds very intimidating. It does not help that his coat is completely black, which some might see as very ominous. In the winter his fur gets very long and when it is kept clean can be very shiny. In the spring and summer he goes through a very awkward phase of shedding in which whole gobs of fur just fall off. His eyes are a dark brown. He has a single white spot on his chest which is the only place on his whole body that is not black.

Personality:

Brutus's general build makes him perfect for a hunter. However, he is not exactly good at anything else. Ask him anything about what to do in a situation during a hunt and he could tell you, but that's only because he has been in that situation before. When it comes to real problem solving ability he is generally lacking. He is very good natured though and knows his limits... for the most part. He does not try to pick fights because he knows if given an opponent that is stronger or smarter than him, then he cant win. He can be intimidating and short with you at first but once others get to know him they find he is actually kind hearted and means well.

History:

Brutus was one of five pups born to his mother, Midnight. his father was only around briefly when he was a pup but before Brutus was old enough to remember anything, his father was gone. His mother never spoke of him again and to this day Brutus does not know the name of the Brute that sired him.

When he was old enough he left his mother's den and pack and set out to live his own life. He found life not too hard at first, considering he found a talent for hunting and tracking. These things were easy, just follow your nose and make the kill. He quickly found that just because you can hunt, does not mean you can fight. He got into a nasty battle with another loner named Matrix. The other wolf was smaller than he, but was very cunning and smart. Matrix was able to briefly blind Brutus and gave him a large injury to his left hind leg that still gives him trouble today. After losing the fight, he was forced to leave and find new lands to call home. This became difficult since he was blinded for quite a while after the fight.

After many days and weeks, Brutus's eyesight returned fully and his leg healed completely. Now he still wanders from place to place. He has recently stumbled upon a new land that he hopes to call home.done
